A formal therapeutic relationship is established only after an intake session, signed informed consent, and mutual agreement to engage in therapy services.

Scope of Services

I offer both clinical and non-clinical services:

Psychotherapy is offered to individuals, couples, & families located in California under my associate licensure, supervised by Dr. Sean Tobin, PsyD #33387. These services are provided through The Catholic Therapy Center. I hold dual registration as an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, #18799, & Associate Marriage & Family Therapist, #153353 in California.

Integrative Coaching, Workshops, and Courses are non-clinical offerings for adults seeking embodied, faith-informed support outside of psychotherapy. These services are available globally to individuals located outside California and do not constitute treatment of a mental health diagnoses.

Confidentiality & Privacy

While I respect and maintain the privacy of all my clients and participants, only psychotherapy services are governed by HIPAA and clinical confidentiality laws. Coaching sessions and other non-clinical services are not protected by HIPAA, but will still be held in appropriate ethical confidentiality.

While I take precautions to protect any personal information shared via this Website, electronic communication is not 100% secure.

Please refrain from sharing confidential information through contact forms or email. If you are in crisis, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Disclaimer on Non-Clinical Services

Integrative coaching, group classes, workshops, and other non-clinical offerings are not a replacement for professional therapy, diagnosis, or treatment of mental health conditions. Participation in these services does not establish a therapist-client relationship.

If you are experiencing significant mental health concerns, I recommend seeking support from another licensed mental health professional in your state if you are outside California.

Fees & Payment Policy

My standard rate is $200 per 50-minute session. I offer longer 75-minute sessions when clinically appropriate, typically for deeper trauma work or integration sessions, billed at a prorated rate. I offer a limited number of reduced-fee spots to make my offerings more accessible while maintaining a sustainable practice. Please reach out to me to discuss eligibility and availability. Payments must be made in full at or after the time of service.

Insurance

While I am not contracted with any insurance companies, I will provide you with a billing statement upon request that you can submit to your insurance company. Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Each session time is reserved exclusively for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, I ask that you do so with at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a late cancellation fee.

• Cancellations or reschedules made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged the full session fee (exceptions made for emergencies or serious illness).

• No-shows will also be charged the full session fee.

• Insurance does not reimburse for missed or late-cancelled therapy sessions.

This policy is in place not only to respect our time together, but also to allow me the opportunity to offer the spot to others who may be waiting for care.

You’re welcome to cancel or reschedule by email, phone, or through the client portal.

Telehealth Services

Secure telehealth sessions are available to therapy and coaching clients through my remote video office platform. Clients are responsible for ensuring they have a secure, private location for sessions. Telehealth has inherent risks, including potential technology disruptions.

Limitation of Liability

By using this website, you agree that I am not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this Website or services.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in a California court.
